HY3+ MVP presented in Delft

The first Hy3+ steering committee (aka Steerco) will be hosted on Thursday February 29th. The Hy3+ team is thrilled to see all of our partners and discuss our initial results.

Hy3+ is a study with which TNO & Arcadis provide independent advice on the prioritization of the roll-out of the currently envisioned hydrogen backbones in BE, DE and NL. To understand whether the network and storage sites can facilitate the desired security of supply and security of demand, multiple supply and demand scenarios for 2030 and 2035 are translated into local, hourly supply and demand rates. This will stress-test the network, with the aim of to find critical locations and identify debottlenecking options. The study is therefore strategically and locally supported by a PESTLE analysis to provide mitigation options.

During the Steerco, we will jointly evaluate the current status of the model, scenarios, and PESTLE. This will lead to discussions on topics such as "What can we learn from the Minimum Viable Product (MVP)?", "What simulations will be run for the basic scenario?", and "What is the current readiness level versus the hydrogen ambition for each country?".

While presenting our results, we use our partners as a feedback panel and ask how they would prioritize potential scenarios. Would you like to join this conversation and be a part of the team? Feel free to contact us
